    I have a 1995 Firebird Formula.

The mods thus far are as follows.I just had the tranny beefed with a shift kit and 2800 10" coan converter. It has a 3 inch catback with a flowmaster muffler. I had pcmforless tune it. It has a cold air intake, descreened maf,tb bypassed, better flowing intake elbow, air foil, motive 373 gears, poly trans mount.

I know before winter the mdos i will do will be

    upgraded brake rotors, cermaic pads
either mac mids or some sort of jet hoat coated header

But after that i know i need some suspension stuff like subframe connectors.
I want to make more power so my motor has almost 100k on it. what would you guys do, i plan on getting it repainted and eventually doing the interior with leather and making the top into a one piece solid painted sportop. It has all the cosmetics i want done like that ram air hood, chrome wheels, ground effects, filled in bird and pontiac. The only thing i might do is tint the windows.

I guess my question is what should i do during the winter months?

I know subframes but what then?

A quick suggestion for brake pads would be hawk pads. I have 'em on all 4 corners...couldn't be happier

    For winter, here's my suggstions...

Power - Get some bigger and more time consuming things done...especially if it's stored. Headers/y-pipe, cam, intake, and heads are all good ideas. Depending on what your future goals are, you might want to think about your bottom end as well.

Suspension - A must. What's the point of power if you can't get it to the ground. LCA's w/relocation brackets are a good idea. Subframe connectors, panhard rod, shock tower brace, adj. torque arm, sway bars, and shocks and springs (if needed) are all good ideas.

Restoration - Being your approaching 100k, you might want to start thinking about replacing certain things. Opti, water pump, plugs, wires, window motors, belts, hoses, coolant flush, etc... are all good ideas as well.

Also, I suggest going to a GM dealership, and getting a new gasket set for your throttle body. Then when you have a chance, take off your TB, take it apart, and clean the bloody p*ss out of it. Put back together and pop 'er back on there. I did this and noticed a 'lil less hesitation actually. You might want to consider cleaning out your MAF also. Just get an electronic cleaner, and use Q-tips. Everyone is right, those wires are more stable than what you would think.
