LS1 center counsol compatible with LT1

    LS1 center counsol compatible with LT1

    I'm sick of my center counsol always rattling, so i want to get a new one. Im just not sure if the 97and 98+ cars have the newer version, is the 97 and up compatible with my 96. Im dont think it is due to the area around the cigarette lighter. Any advice is apprecitated.

    1996 Trans Am:T-tops,graphite leather,16" chrome T/A rims, Nitto's, Descreened MAF, Morosso CAI, hypertech, flowtech cut out, 1LE elbow, Silver BMR tubular SFC's, 160 thermo, limo tint, harwood ws6 hood, !side molding, Stage 2 trans.

    Looking for a driver side window.

    You'd have to get the center console, shifter insert and console door...but it should just drop right in.

      Yea I can find the door, shifter plates, and counsol on ebay for a decent price.

        Then I belive it will all drop right in. The only thing I'm unsure of is the wiring and lights.
