  • I need help paint experts

I need to get my car repainted and the shop that i am considering going to says that they use a paint called Akzo Nobel Sikkens and claims this paint will " go on easier with fewer coats and with less drying time, while giving you the glossiest, most durable finish in the industry. " Has anyone heard of them or can anyone back them up?

I was just reading a thread on thirdgen.org that mentioned that brand. Looking to paint my car in another year or so. Said it's really a great paint, but more expensive than Dupont or PPG. Near the end of the thread.

It does cost quite a bit more than you average ppg or dupont but it is well worth it.

I have only previously heard of Sikkens when having my deck stained. I was told that Sikkens deck stain is the best you can buy for durability, and it was pretty darn expensive (~$50/gallon).

Sorry, I guess this was a useless response...
