Today I changed my water pump and I got everything back together. I seemed to have missplaced that small hose that hooks into the blue plastic thing in the elbow. What does that sensor do? Where does it go to so I can dig down there and find that little bugger.

That would be one of the vents for the optispark. It is supposed to prevent ozone buildup within the unit.
