Sure. They do wonders for holding memos and calendars to a refrigerator. Beyond that, they are useful for creating profit in those that sell them. That's about it.

In Ken's case, the fuel saver device is Mary. She prevents him from eating Taco Bell!

No, they don't work.
Take the money and put it towards maintenance to keep your mileage up.
