  • Overheating problem!!

Ok....well tonight i took the car out to the track, and when i got up to the line i noticed that the temp gauge was reading pretty high.. well i ran it and got a 15.2 (this is with a lt1 6 speed), And when i got back i noticed my fans were not comming on...could this be the cause of this high time? or posibly somthing else? I'm tired so i probly left some stuff out idk. But input is greatly appreciated.

Even at temps as low as 220° the PCM begins to retard timing at high loads. You won't get maximum performance like that.

What do you think guys?? Check the Cooling Fan Relay then check the fan motors ?? The sending unit's got to be working if he saw the temp on the guage. What else ??
