    Jay...did you put the headers up in then let the car back down and put the bolts in? I've never been under an LS1 on a lift but was on my formula when I put in the new motor. The easiest way of them all I've found to install headers is to put them on the motor then drop the car back down on it .
    1994 Firebird Formula, M6, Fan switch, 160 thermostat, Pacesetter LT headers, Morosso CAI, TB bypass, True duals.

      hahaha I wish I could have just dropped the motor out, that would have been awesome.

      The process was a lot of up and down on the lift actually... but that's the benefit of using one. You can un-bolt the manifolds - take it up, bring out the manifolds from underneath... have someone stand on the lift to drop the header through the top, guide it in place on the bottom, while the person on top puts all the bolts in... lower the car back down and tighten all the bolts... put the car back up and attach the y-pipe and check all the fittings underneath... lower it back down and drive off
