mecham spoiler

does anyone here own the Mecham spoiler for the Formula or convertible?...I was looking at some pics online and I like the look of the piece but it also seems like it might obstruct your rearward view.

it shouldn't obstruct the view anymore than a high-rise TA spoiler.

On a side note, Mecham's fiberglass quality sucks. I have one of their hoods and the body shop had to spend 40 hours fixing their crappy work. I had to add drain holes to my hood because they never had any.

Another firend has a Mecham TA and after it rains his spoiler is full of a few gallons of water for 3 days or so until it leaks out. His hood also has cracks in it from shoddy workmanship.

A third friend had a Mecham TA and was also not inpressed by their fiberglass work.

is there any other supplier that offers an add-on for the convertible rear spoiler similar to the Mecham unit?

Wings West offer a spoiler add on, but I know for a fact it dones't apply to convertables.
