Well I have finally made it to the track for the first time with my car. I went there with a bad air flow sensor, and hot weather. I was kind of disappointed with my time but maybe next time will be better. I know
that I could have lowered my time with a quicker reaction time on the start. Anyways here are some specifics. My reaction time was a .845. The 60' time was 2.304 and the 330 was 5.938. The 1/8 was 8.897 and the mph was 83.65. The 1000 was 11.410. The 1/4 was a 13.535 at 105.83 mph. In comparison I raced a 487hp 2004 Cobra that ran a 12.454 1/4 at 114.06 mph.
slp longtube headers, slp y-pipe, high-flow cats, superchips programmer, slp 85mm air sensor, slp loudmouth exhaust, ws6 hood, slp cai, kn air filter, slp high-flow lid, smooth bellows, tb bypass, subframes, lca's, panhard bar, torque arm.

Nope.... the reaction time doesn't matter. The timer doesn't start until the car breaks the beams. The 60' time you have could show much improvement. Shoot for around a 2.0 on a sticky street radial. Whatever you shave off the 60', you shave off the ET.

I am guessing an M6 - they are tricky to launch - I am still learning myself. My best 60' on street tires was 2.09 but that was just with a lid and cat back. It is harder to launch now due to the added power - best so far with the cam and headers is 2.24. That is where I am losing time - just like you. More power and a longer 60' time - that bites

Might want to add a "signature" with info about your car.... we can guess its a 2001 Formula from your screen name. But what trans? What mods? Without knowing info like that, the track numbers are sort of hard to evaluate. And, info about the exact temperature, humidty, barometer and elevation would help people convert those numbers to a "standard" so they could compare it to similar cars running at different altitude, temperature, etc.

As Joe already noted, just cleaning up the 60-ft time would lower your ET 0.3 - 0.4 seconds. Your 1/8-mile numbers reflect the poor launch, while you made up for a lot of that in the last 1/8-mile. Car seems strong (depending on what mods, if any) based on what it managed to do in the last 660-feet.
