hey guys im gettin money from workin so ive been looking more into hoods and i think im gonna go with the ws6 style and i was just wonderin if any of you that have put the same hood on could give me a total price after buying the hood and having it painted and put on. thanks!

Figure about $300-400 over the cost of the hood, at least. This includes the trial mount, prep, paint, and final mount.
Don't go to a cut rate shop for this type of job. Composite/glass hoods vary a good bit dimensionally and require careful alignment. They also require proper prep to avoid spidered/flaking paint long term.
I put a SLP Firehawk hood on my old '93 Formula, since the car was in a small front end accident the paintwork was essentially free.
But it ends up being a big chunk of change. Think about all that money and consider heavily if that's where you really want to put it.Comment

I spent $900 on the hood, $300 on the paint, and installed it myself.R.I.P. 2001 Trans Am- C5's 17" and 18", way too expensive stereo, SLP LM, WS6 hood, and more to come.
