    Any guys with lowered cars running long tubes?

    One of the important parts of my engine project is getting a good set of headers. I was pretty decided on the RK Sport headers until I went over to cz28.com and read all of the issues guys were having with them. I wuold love the SLP's but they are super expensive for middies.

    My question is are any of you guys running long tube headers on lowered cars? I would love to get the performance of the long tubes but I am runnning Intrax springs. I don't think I can run long tubes as that is one of the trade offs of the great looks of the car when lowered.

    Any one doing this?

    My SS has the Bilstein suspension and is lower that stock. I have PPC LT's and hi-flo RT Cats. The left cat sits the lowest and I do occassionally drag a little on some speed bumps.

      I'm doubting anyone with a LS1 would be able to help ya out with header selection on a LT1.

      I have LT's and lowered my LS1, but since I have a ground control kit, I can adjust the ride height.

      I know SLP is the worst for clearance on LT's though.
