dtc code 18 and 42

I was checking through my scanmaster this evening and found a couple dtc codes in it, they were 18 and 42.I read 18 is an injector circuit code and 42 is an ignition control circuit,shorted or grounded.I installed a crane ps 92 ignition coil wednesday night and also replaced the spark plugs.We got a late start and i forgot to disconnect the battery.The coil replacement went normal, (was a pain to get to fit) but no problems that i could see,the plugs went ok too, i know we coulda bumped something i guess but nothing i know of.Today is the first time since ive checked the dtc on scanmaster.The car has ran perfect since the work with no problems and the ses light wasnt on either.I reset the pcm tonight and drove around 20-30 minutes and still no codes, i also cked around the coil and injector wiring,the coil plug-in from the crane ignition box needed pushed in a bit further but i didnt see any problems with anything.I also ran the car in the dark to look for any arching but nothing was found.Im hoping it was just a fluke and a good lesson learned to always disconnect the battery before working on a car but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

If you reset it and they are gone, don't worry about it. Unless you check frequently, there is no telling how long the codes were in there.

Thanks man,thats what i was wanting to hear.I have started the car a few more times tonight and still no codes.This is the first time ive seen those codes(18,42),i know for sure there were no codes as of last weekend.I dont check it every day but i usually scan through all the readouts 2-3 times a week.I guess i must have set them off doing the work on the car or atleast i hope and pray i did it.Thanks again!!
