The most popular plug for a stock engine seems to be the NGK TR55. Its available in a standard copper plug or a platinum. Unlike the stock AC/Delco plugs, they seem to keep the platinum pucks in place. For a stock engine, the platinums will lengthen the time between replacements.
Bosch makes several different plugs.... including the funky +2 and +4. I have never heard anything good about the +4's. But I've never tried them. A friend of mine did, and took them out after about 2,000 miles.
