I dont think that installing springs and struts would be that hard. Just go buy a repair manual for your car and it should tell you nearly everything.

The front springs can be a major PITA! I'm guessing that you have a 96 by your name so you can expect that those bolts will not want to come out very easily. I would by the upper shock mounts, that way you don't have to worry about getting those rusty bolts out.

If you do that it's not too bad. If you want to try to fight the rusty bolts, it can be a pain. Just my opinion.

ur gonna want caster and camber plates for the front, and a adjustable panhard bar is almost a given when lowering our cars. im not sure how the 4th gen front suspension is set up but go either buy or rent a spring compressor or bring it down to a shop and have them swap em

Everyone appears to be assuming he has a 4th Gen - not sure why people make us guess rather than including the info up front.

If its a 4th Gen, you do not need any plates. The 4th Gen's do not have the strut front suspension like the 3rd Gens. Its an unequal length upper and lower a-arm suspension with a coil-over spring/shock arrangement. The caster and camber adjustments are done with slotted bolts in the front and rear bushings of the lower control arm. There is more than adequate range of adjustment for the Pro-Kit springs (1 to 1.5" drop). But you do not want to try and maintain factory adjuctment, with its positive camber. There are alignment specs for lowered cars in the 4th Gen FAQ.

Now, if he has a 3rd Gen, ignore everything I wasted my time typing

Dude, do the install yourself. I did it and was so glad that I didnt pay someeone to do it. Just do some research and you should be fine. Here is an instal guide that I used that proved to be invaluable.
