  • Air pump removal update

Took of the Air pump last light with no check engine light. Got lucky maybe?? I also went to Home depot to get some fittings to plug the holes in the manifolds. They had the right size but the wrong type of threads. I ended up using two pennys for now. What have you guys used to plug the manifolds? Thanks..

welded the flare nuts over, good enough for now, till I get headers. Injuneer once said that some metric oil drain plugs might fit.

The M22-1.5 oil drain plugs from the Dodge Cummins diesel pickups will plug the holes in the single-cat manifold and most headers. The dual-cat manifolds had a smaller thread size, and it might be an M18 or a 5/8".

I went to a plumbing supply and got a copper plug for mine.
