  • Duplicate Ignition Key Cost -$28?

    Hi all,

I need another ignition key. The local dealer wants $28. -Is this price in the ball park or do you know of a less expensive source?

    Thanks in advance,

Mailbox etc will reproduce the key with the resistor chip in it?

$28 doesn't surprise me and seems within expectations.

Yep, it has the chip. I guess I'll head down and pick one up at the dealer.

Mail Boxes etc used to but they are no more. They are now the UPS store. I asked them about it and they said they no longer do it.

I have seen the blanks on ebay for $15. You just need to know the chip #.
