PCV valve rattle.

My PCV valve rattles so loud that i can hear it outside my car. for a min i thought that it was valve lash but after poping it out and putting my finger on the end the noise stopped. i think that the pcv is suppost to rattle but i never noticed one that rattles quite this bad.

It should not rattle with vacuum applied. If it does, it is worn out and needs replacement. It should only rattle freely when you shake it in your hand. My fiero did that once. The PCV was actually buzzing because it was rattling so fast.
