  • Water water everywhere

It has rained for 40 days and nights here. Not sure how but water is every where in my car, in the engine bay, in my seats (t-tops). My question is, shouldn't there be a lip on a 94 Camaro that would prevent the water from going between the hood and the front side panels in the motor area? Any help would be appreciated! Does anyone else have this problem. I need a garage!

The seals will leak if they're full of dirt, dust or grit. Take off your T-tops and wipe the seals with a clean damp rag and clean the back side of the T-tops as well. This will create a clean level surface for a good seal.

When my T-tops start to drip, I always pull them off and clean the seals and this usually cures the problem.

Do this to all your seals . . . and every now and then, go over them with some silicone - this will keep the seals flexible and smooth. Don't use WD40 or Armor All -

when you put the windows up some times they dont go all the way even 1/6 inch could mean water or not so open the door and grab the window with your hands and give it a little tug maybe that will help too

The silicone goes into the seal without leaving a greasy residue.

Vasaline, I think, would sit on top of the seal and attract dirt - worsening the problem you're having.

          Silicone spray is cheap - a couple of bucks . . . .

GM says to use dielectric grease on the seals as they say it soaks into the seal. But silicone spray works too.
