Whats the difference between the ZR rated W speed rated tire and a ZR rated Y speed rated tire? Which tire has the harder rubber?

Typically, but not always, the speed rating is mostly influenced by the sidewall stiffness. If you are looking for a good indicator of compound, you should be looking at the threadwear number. The higher the number, the harder the tire. (well typically)LS15 Power! Another LSx engine coming soon.
