  • header is done

    guys i just installed my pacesetter header took me long long time but its done now after i start the car i love the sound by the way and its still open header now, then i turned the car off there is alot of smoke from header is that normal ?

    Yes, headers will burn off any leftover packing materials, oils or anything else that is left on there from the manufacturing process. It won't last too long.

      Congratulations. You're "In the club" It's the equivalent to taking an initiation beating from the Latin Kings or running across a six lane interstate blindfolded. BTW, how many band-aids did it take?

        Mine smoked a lot as well - no worries

          but i have lots of cuts and i didn't know that header gasket that sharp.
          but one problem i'm having i can't conect y pipe to my exhaust yet so it still open header and its loud.

            problem? heck I took mine for a test drive through the neighborhood and out on the open road that way. On Sunday morning the folks attending church out in front of my subdivision I am sure loved the sound of my open headers as I ripped up to speed. Not only that, I did a U turn and did it again. Oh heavenly father, BRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH,"screech", BRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH..... LOL!

                OMG i just woke up and all my body hurt, this must be $300 pain when you do header your self.
