  • Bleeding air from cooling system

Help a dummy out here. To be sure you have no air in the cooling system on a '97 LT1, do you open the bleeder valve.
    1. When the engine is hot and running?
    2. Hot and shut off.
    3. Cold and shut off
    4. Cold and running.
    5. With the radiator cap off or on?

    Thanks,

dont feel bad ....... It took me a few days of rereading and asking to figure it out....

You need to do it with the cap off until it gets bubbling ... that so you can see how low you are and you can add... once its bubbling cap it ...

crack the bleeder screws to let the air out.

let it cool .. repeat a few more times.
