  • chassis damage-worth fixing?

i bought today a 99 camaro z28 a4 with t tops , leather, asr, well i think its all the options..its got 5000 km on the clock which i think its real

it has been hit in the front right where the fender meets the bumper, the hit was pretty bad and the rails that go underneath the radiator and the inner metal bumper have been moved about 10 cm to the left with eveything that is attached t o it -radiator,condenser,headlamp, metal cross member under the air cleaner and so on...the wheel was not hit and there is no apparent damage to the steering ,just that the front sway bar which is fixed to the rails is 10 cm to the right as well and the car is tilted on the front right wheel

I paid less than 2000$ for it and it makes sense even to break it for parts, but I would like to get it fixed ...it will be my first ls1 what do you think?

I would take it to a collision repair facility and get an opinion from a specialist. Judging by your description, it should be worth fixing as long as it can be done correctly. The car needs to be put on a frame straightening rack. The car is secured with chains and the bent areas are pulled back into shape, the alignment is checked with lasers. It sounds like a decent amont of a bend, but I've seen worse stuff fixed. When done correctly, it will be just fine. for the price that you paid, I think it was worth it.
