  • Anyone with a 4th gen part manual? I need a favor....

The windshield wiper motor mounts under the cowl. There are two "ears" that slide into a preformed portion of the firewall, the front part of the bracket uses a rubber doughnut with a bolt that holds the unit into place. There should be a rubber isolator on each ear that slides into the cowl portion and those are missing on project 93. If anyone look up the part number for those rubber isoltors, I would be extremely grateful! While you're at it, how about looking up the plastic plugs that hold the plastic cowl/vent and rubber seal to the cowl.

Thanks folks, trying to finish up some details so that project 93 is 100% street ready.

Do you suppose it is included as part of the wiper motor?

Bingo! I need #3. Thanks man! While you're at it, can you find the plastic push through retainers that hold the cowl vent/wiper covers and rubber hood seal to the cowl?

#3 is 22100481 and should have come with the motor, part # 12367254.

As for the retainers, do you mean the black plastic piece under the wiper arms at the bottom of the windshield?

It's the black plastic cover and vents that literally covers the base of the windshild. The two posts that the wiper arms bolt to protrode through this. There are perhaps half a dozen or so plastic studs that push through mounting holes and secure the entire cover to the cowl, those are what I am looking for. Thanks for those part numbers!

I can't really rip a picture out of the manual on my work machine (stupid Windows), but it looks like its part # 21075688, number 9 on the diagram on page 1108 of the manual. I'll post a pic when I get home tonight so that you can see for yourself if that's it, but the desc. says its the retainer for that piece. I'll add more when I get home

I can't find it either. I had to download it from http://z28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22729 at work. I've got it on my machine though at home, so it didn't dawn on me earlier to ask as well
