Bleeding a clutch in 86 z28

could someone please walk me through the process of bleeding a slave cylinder on an 86 Z28, or point me toward an online manual that will explain it, or is does it even need bled. I'm going to a friends house this weekend to help them out but I have never done it before and just wanted to have a good idea of what needed done before I got there. Any help would be appreciated.

fill the fluid, and pump it till no air comes outta the resevoir. im doing my clutch on my car now. just make sure u got rags to soak up the fluid. and remember to use brake fluid(i think its DOT 3 on clutchs)
