  • Wheels for 1974 Trans Am

    Hey all,

I own a 1974 T/A that I'm getting ready to restore next year. It has the factory honeycomb wheels, which I am also going to restore and use mostly when showing the car. I'm shopping around for a set of wheels that will obviously look good on the car, and have had 2 in mind: American Racing's Torq-Thrust wheels, and the Hot Wheels Sixty-Eight.

I went to American Racing's Web site just now to see what else they had, and found what I really think will be #1 on my list: the Trakstar S (Series 516). This is a really nice looking wheel!

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and also if anyone can point me to photos of the 2nd gen T/A with aftermarket wheels, I would appreciate it!

Hey Will. Welcome to the site! I would try the almighty eBay. You are bound to find something on there. As far as the 2nd Gen pics, I won't be of much help, but I guarantee someone here will chime in and provide you with some links.
