Ok, well whenever i'm in a higher gear, lets say 4th going about 35mph. If I go on the gas hard the shifter starts making a vibrating noise. I took it to a transmission shop to ask them what it was. They had just said shifter vibration. And I was wanting to know on how I could fix that.

Some noise is perfectly normal, especailly from an aftermarket shifter.Originally posted by 96Camaro
There are people that have made homemade gaskets to put between the shifter and the trans to reduse noise.
Also, if the bolts securing the shifter to the trans get loose it will make allot of noise. I have heard of one instance where a guys shifter was noisy and when her went to change gears the entire thing came off in his hand.
It is a good idea to use a little locktite red on thise 4 bolts.Tracy
