  • Whats my HP, torque and 1/4......

Please check out my signiture and estimate my HP and torque at the wheels and possible 1/4 mile. I need some reassurance that this hard work is paying off.

I have CC roller 1.6 rockers and LT4 springs but they are not installed yet, gonna be a spring project.

Please give estimates before and after the rocker install.
    Thanks

One thing that confuses me. In your signature you have a MadZ28 tune yet you also list a Hypertech.

In any case, LT4 rockers and springs are good for about 10 HP and a tenth at the strip. A rough guess on your car would be 13.35 before and 13.25 after, trap speed approximately 105. That should equate to somewhere around 285HP at the wheels? Why don't you at least pick up a performance meter like a beltronics Vector, G-tech or the like? It's been a great tuning tool for learning to drive the car to best ET, verifying performance when changes in parts have been made, etc.

Besides all that, it's almost impossible to give you those kind of hard figures as a guess because of so many variables. Altitude, temperature, track conditions, state of tune, etc, etc, the list goes on for what seems like forever.

I'd pretty much agree with Joe.... 285rwHP, maybe 13.5@103 or 104, reflecting the extra 100# on the convertible.

Whoops, I sold the hypertech a while back. I have the Ion's tune.
If im looking at a mid 13 second car I will be very happy with that. Im looking for the performance of a stockish LS1 or the new 2006 Mustang GT.
I would like to do the LE1 but I am going to wait to theres a reason to have to go into the engine.

I just got the headers installed, I sure hope the power above 5K RPM is improved.

I would say you should be a couple (or more) tenths faster than a new GT, and on par with some LS1s. As far as exact RWHP numbers, though, I agree with Fred and Joe. I've seen some LT1s with your mods pull about 300 RWHP, and others 270 or less. So 285 seems like the perfect guestimate.
BTW, on the chassis dyno I've been to, new GTs pull 260 RWHP, and I pulled over 275 with knock retard and a bad lean condition. Don't worry about them too much

I think in order to feel a noticable difference "above 5000 RPMs" you are going to have to do more than just "bolt ons". I am thinking a larger cam or reworked heads.
