  • Water pump New or Rebuilt?

I was looking on ebay for a new water pump and i saw the rebuilt ones for about 70$ shipped. I also saw a new AC Delco water pump for a lt1 corvette on there for 170$. Would the corvette water pump fit if it is a Lt1 water pump? If i was to go the rebuilt route is it worth it?

This is very subjective. I, personally, don't have any problems with reman parts but some do. If you want the absolute best, go for a new AC/DELCO. If you want to go inexpensive, go reman.

The corvette pump is slightly different. It will not have the same hose nipples on it.

I think i might just trade it in for the spring and use my tax money on a LS1. I will probobly get a rebuilt one. Thanks for the info about the corvette water pump.
