If I was to put a z28 gauge cluster in my 3.4l what mods would I need to do? or would it fit straight in? speed sensor?

I cant say for sure, but I doubt it would work.
The 3.4 and the 5.7 use different PCMs and the gauge cluster is driven off the PCM.
If you can get your hands on a LT1 gauge cluster and test it that might be the only way to know for sure. You can also look up the wiring diagrams for each and see if all the pinouts are the same.Tracy
