    drive shaft

    ok my gear box is still in bits on the bench! when it comes to putting it back in, is it possible to put a one piece aluminium drive shaft in or will it not fit? currently i have the heavy 2 piece shaft. Ive heard lots of stories saying that you can releace afew horses by changing to a one piece shaft, is this true? Will a lt1 or ls1 shaft fit my 94 v6?

    Yes. I have one in mine. Not only that, the Lt-1 differentials with disk brakes are a bolt in as well. 3.42 posi does wonders. Mine will lauch pretty darned hard.

        Yer this is my plan, only thing holding me back at moment is time and money, although i may source one in milton keynes?!
        What does ya 3.4l v6 top out at with 3.42 gears?
