Is that C.A.I. from SLP and good for a 2000 firebird formula with the ram air hood? If not, what about the air lid. Thanks, Ryan.

from what I've heard...it isn't recommended for "raised airbox" cars. If you have money to burn...I guess you can do the mod. You're supplied a rubber gormment to block off induction (but too small to block off a raised air boxed car) in front of the box...basically it's sealed and your engine is only sucking in air from outside, in front of the radiator.

I have it on my car...SLP claim HP increases...since I didn't dyno to see results the only thing I see is increased dirt build up on the filter. So I guess it works...
