i was wondering if anyone has ever heard anything about the company, mecham design. I am interested in buying their exhaust but i really don't know much about it. If anyone knows if it is a good exhaust or how it compares to others, such as slp, borla or flowmaster the information would be great.

Are you familiar with the Macho Trans Ams from the 70s? They were actually pretty darn cool. I think it was around '98 that the Mecham Brothers put out a Mecham T/A. There were a couple of versions, one moderately fast, and one really fast...if I remember correctly. I have only seen one of the new ones that belongs to a guy that uses the same shop as me. I am not sure of the exhaust. It would be cool to have one of their 70s cars, though. Personally, I am going with the SLP Loudmouth.'77 K5 rock-crawler project
'79 T/A: WS6, 400 4sp, 40K miles; Completely stock and original
'87 Lifted 3/4 ton Suburban (Big Blue) plow truck
'94 Roadmaster Wagon (The Roadmonster) 200,000 miles and still going
'97 T/A: (SLP 1LE Suspension, SB, & sfc(s), Loudmouth); 4.10s; B&M Ripper; R/A Hood; ZR1s
My daily drivers: '06 Jeep Liberty CRD (wife); '01 Yukon Denali XL (me); '03 Stratus Coupe (me)
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
