  • Selecting weatherstrip?

I'm new to this board so bare with me if I have posted this question in the wrong spot.
I am restoring a '68 Firebird hardtop which is currently at body/paint. I am looking for any advise on which weatherstrip manufacturer to use i.e. Soffseal, Steele Rubber Products, OER, SuperSoft just to name a few.
I have heard the horror stories of doors, deck lids and windows not closing properly due to new weatherstripping that was too hard or to large or even to soft.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
