  • Converting my front fascia.....

I have a 1996 Trans Am built by SLP. I was just wondering if anybody knows how big of a project changing my front fascia to a 1998 of newer body style would be. Basically I was just wondering if the 98 and newer fenders, hood and airdam just bolt up or if the fit is different. Any info would be apreciated.

this as been asked mumerous times, try doing a search. Short answer is that it's a lot more complicated than it looks and the easiest thing would be to just buy a 98+.... then you get an LS1 too!

Used to have a link to a guy who did it, but I can't find it. You need the full front clip, including fenders, hood, headlights and bumper cover and supports. Then there are changes that need to be made to the radiator support.
