toyo tire question

ok guys let me first start by telling you all a lovely bedtime story... the story of josh (my friend) and kyle(me) and there wonderful adventure together.

well to begin it was a fine night out, not a rain cloud in the sky and after 25 straight days of rain that was something to celebrate. So we take josh's dads 93 formula out for a joy ride, so were on 167 crusing at 65-70 MPH when all of a sudden the ride becomes extreamly bumpy, then the car starts darting across the lanes with josh trying to correct with the wheel turned almost a ful half turn the other way we regain the ablity to drive stright we immediently pull over and get out to see what happened. We find that the whole front tire tore apart and then folded over on its self, this tire has under 2K on it and its the front tire, the ones that don't get roasted. basicaly im just asking has anyone heard anything about toyo tires doing this or did josh's dad get the 1/1000 defeted tire?

so am i, plus as far as it looked i don't think anything other then the tire itself was hurt, the inside of the fender showed some rubbing from when the tire moved over but thats all, even the rim was protected by what was left of the side wall... so i cross my fingers and hope that it is just the tire that needs replaced

One of my best friends works at belle tire. When I asked about getting Toyo, he wouldn't even sell me one. He says they suck. But I have heard about Kumho's doing the same thing, and they supposedly make a good tire. Maybe you did get a bad tire.
