  • Will 893 fog light bulbs work in a 93-97 Camaro?

I have some after-market 893 bulbs with the straight plug design. I think the early 4th gen stock bulbs are the ones with the 90 degree plug design. Are these two bulbs interchangeable? I think both plugs are the same (or at least they look the same) but one is straight and the other has a 90 degree bend.

    Thanks

Im pretty sure that early fourth gens never used angled bulbs on the fog light housings. But to answer your question, yes, they will work! 893 880 884 885 890 899 They all work!

The sockets on the lamps such as the side markers, turn signals, and taillights all have 90 degree angled sockets. I guess that's what Cerwin meant.

The fog light sockets are also 90 degree.

      Here is a pic:

Why did you have to bring this thread up. It made me loose a fog light bulb yesterday. LOL They are so much fun to change.
