Guys, I did the bypass a few months ago...works fine. A few weeks ago, the Security light came on and stayed on. No problems starting the car throughout the day though. The light just stays on. I decided to take everything loose and check my work and it was fine. Funny thing is, the car started without anything hooked up. I replaced the old resistor with a new one just to be safe. Out of curiosity, I unplugged the resistor and it still started up without and problems.

Not that it's an issue...as long as the car starts, but the light bugs me. I hate going through the day knowing that something is wrong with my car...that I could have caused it.

Is there a reason why the light stays on? What is needed to be done to get the thing to go off. Thanks fellas.

You could just pull out the lightbulb in the gauge cluster. haha. I wish I could help you more... I dont really know what would cause a security light.

yeah...LOL! I was thinking about that...that's like Homer Simpson's black tape over the check engine light fix. You still know it's there. HAHAHA!!!

It's actaully LED's that you'd have to desolder and pull out...I rather get the source though.
