  • 2.73's to 3.42's question

I have a 94 Formula with a 2.73 rear axle. I have a SLP take off 3 series carrier and 3.42 gears from a 1997 or 1998 that they upgraded. I need to know if the axle shafts are the same between the 1994 and the newer one. I know the carrier uses a 28 spline axle. I have heard that the older cars used 26 spline axles. Can anyone provide any input?

    Thanks

    I'm 90% sure they're both 28 spline.

There were 26 spline axles put in factory 10 bolts, but not in the F-bodies. They all received 28 spline 32" diag. axles.
