Can you replace just the bushings in the stock rear control arms or do you have to replace the control arms?

Are you sure its the control arms? My car used to do that but I put rubber pads on the bottom of my coil springs (on the axle) and it cleared it right up.

It's coming from the rear control arm - the bushing in front. If I spray it with WD40, it clears up for a couple of days, then it comes back.
Can you replace just the bushings or do you have to get the whole rear control arms?

you can replace the bushings but the factory stamped steel control arm is flimsy at best. Also, the control arms bushing still won't have a grease fitting for lube. I would suggest:
there are various designs, a simple tubular control arm with rubber on one end and poly on the other is much better at controlling the axle and can be greased for quiet operation.
Very nice! I think you're right - it's time to replace them. Thanks for the link....

I also have that annoying squeek noise from the rear. It also does that when I press down on the car when it sits in the garage. If those new control arms fix the problem let me know.
