last year i twisted the stock shaft and replaced it with SLP's "heavy duty" one with the ballencer in it and with the horse power ive run all year (listed below) this year im going to run 9lbs aprox. 75 - 90 more rwhp thats what procharger says anyway so question being how much power can that shaft take ?

What's SLP's "heavy duty" shaft made out of? What is the diameter?
If you're making the kind of power you should be with 9# of boost, I'd consider something like the Spohn HD steel DS, or a Denny's Nitrous Ready shaft. And you need 1350 yokes with solid u-joints.Fred

I'd get a 3" steel DS and be done with it..1996 Ram Air Trans Am, car #0027, M6, 383 with 440rwhp and able to break a 10 bolt in a single launch!!
