    hey guys i have a few questions..... is a walbro 255 overkill on a pretty much stock 01 3.8 only mod are k and n fipk2, nology wires, ngk iridium, and all royal purple fluids.. and another question if its not overkill is it direct plug and play or is there an install kit i need to buy like there was for my vr-4?

    why suck that much fuel if u aint gonna use it? i prob go with a 190 but why u upgrading the fuel pump on a stock motor?

      Unless you plan on spending a ton of money and just want something unique, I wouldn't put money into modding a 3.8. It'll suck your wallet dry and you'll end up only being as fast as a stock Z28. Don't get me wrong...it can be done. I've seen one in the 12's...probably isn't worth it though...

        i just want it faster than it is its a daily driven car my 91 300gt vr-4 is my fast car.. and just adding a 255fuel pump to my vr-4 added a nice amount of gain to it with other small mods i didn't know it it was overkill on stock injectors

          usually upgrade the fuel pump for 3 reasons 1) bigger injectors, 2) making alot more power then stock 3)supercharging/turbocharging

            It's overkill because our stock injectors are are pathetic; they're only 19 pounders.
