    I wonder how it is, being summit brand. I'm so leary of trying products that aren't from big name companies.

      Chances are it is from a big name company, just has Summit's name on it.

        I agree. I would seriously doubt that summit actually manufactures it.

          Maybe it's made in China. The real gotcha with a cheap opti is the difficulty and hassle of pulling it back off for a refund if it turns out to be faulty.

            If they end up being reliable that would be really nice because with that low of price it would be practical to just buy a cap and rotor for tuneups.
            1994 Firebird Formula, M6, Fan switch, 160 thermostat, Pacesetter LT headers, Morosso CAI, TB bypass, True duals.

                its opti time for me too i found in the new summit book gm performance parts $379 for non vented and $289 for vented and $150 for msd . sounds a little cheep for msd don't ya think ? can you put a vented opti on a 94? can you put a vented on a boosted car?

                  The $150 MSD is only a cap and rotor.
