  • What is rear diff ratio on a 2002 WS6?

Was it 3.23 or 3.42 for the auto? I can't remember and I'm racking my brain on this one....I'm stumped.

      ws6's, SS's, and Firehawks come standard with a 3:23 on the A4.

z28's come standard with the 2:83. if your took the performance tire and axle option...it came with 3:23's.

Thanks....my buddy has an 02 WS6 and was telling me he had a 3.42 in the rear. I didn't disagree but I said he may want to check that again.

I'm not sure about the LS1, but 3.42 is a bit much for most A4 people on the highway. And those 2.73's while awesome at fuel economy (I got 28mpg once) aren't so exciting for acceleration. 3.23's are a good comprimise, but I'll keep the 3.42's I have.
