  • okay, its time to mod

alright guys...it's been a month with my TA and I need to start modding...first on the list is induction and exhaust.

tbryne.com sells a combo kit (CAI lip with a wisper lid) not in tune with 4th gens yet, but what is wisper lid (they say it elimnates the baffle behind the intake lid) and a K&N filter...what power improvements should I expect?

exhuast is next, but completely lost...what do you guys recommend?

I want to see a power increase of 10hp with the induction kit...and 15 total. Is that asking too much?

do the lid and an slp loudmouth. i ve seen numbers in the 13.01-23 range just from those two mods on an ls1.

the lid is worth it for sure..and the loudmouth will make her breathe straight on thru......

I my self have the SLP lid, and"loudmouth" exhaust and noticed quite a difference. If your going to do exhaust loudmouth is a good way to go but if you have the money do all of it, and no matter what get a K&N.

i haven't changed the intake lid yet, but i've got a cut out right after the cats. it's pretty sweet because at the flip of a switch the exhaust is completely dumped out before entering the muffler and sounds really nice. makes saleens and lightnings think twice when i rev her up! it also comes in handy when you are on a long trip.
