  • sorry but header question again

    i think i am going to fit headers to my 93 formula. i have found a set of coated pacesetters on e bay pacesetter headers
    or a set of slp headers slp
    which set is best ie easyst to fit / quality thanks

    Most mid-length headers including these are the hardest. The SLP's will be bit more difficult than the Pacesetters. The problem is bolt access. The SLP's also have larger tubes making even less room to work.

    The SLP's are the better headers of these two.

    Performance Mods 4.10 gears, AS&M CAI, MADZ28 tune, Borla catback, RK Sport mid-length headers, LT4 valve springs, CC pro mag 1.6 RR's, LT4 KM, MSD OVC wires, TB bypass, 160 t-stat, SLP clutch plate w/Kevlar dual friction disk, 52MM TB, TB air foil, 1LE aluminum driveshaft, ASP UD pulley, LS1 brakes w/ Hawk HPS pads, LCA's and PHB.

      as long as they use the spair bolt hole i will be ok what header bolts do you recomend i can not find stage8 locking bolts for the lt1 are they the same as any thing else ?

        After seeing all the problems Craig 94 TA GT has had with his SLP headers and the fact that SLP doesn't sell the 93 headers anymore (regardless of what the website says, I talked to a rep. and they said they're not made anymore), I would recommend and am personally going to go with the Pacesetters. Summit has them here for $416.99. Hope this helps .

            That I'm not sure on. I would say ask someone who has them or call up PaceSetter. Sorry I can't be of more help

                  pacesetters

                  don't know about them using spare hole..my suggestion would be to try speed density.com.it's a site for our 93 lt1's.
                  1993 Z-28 A4, Flowmaster 3" single out the side,Suncoast Ram air hood,K&N filter.
