I can't see how people can do that. I got so pissed at my wife's brother (my wife was too). My wife's mother had this white weenie dog when she passed away. She was like 6 years old. They were trying to decide what to do with the dog and he says well just put her to sleep. I looked at him and said what would your mother think about that and walked off. Funny thing is he is pro life. Yes we took the dog along with the 17 year old cat. The cat had lost weight over the years. They had always fed her dry food. We started getting her can food and she loved it. Just chowed down. She screamed for it at breakfast and dinner time. She had never done that before. I know she enjoyed the last year of her life. She purred like a locomotive.

I have had 2 dogs in my life. The first one was born in my basement when I was in 4th grade. He lived 17 years. The next one is the one I have now. He is about 10. I have never got to choose what type of dog to get. I've just inherited them. My next dog, I plan to choose. I have always loved Golden retrievers. They are always such mild tempered dogs. Even the 15 year old ones act like puppies. Definitely have to put up your shoes around them.

That's horrible someone can do that to a dog. Retrievers must be one of the most loving dogs!. I have an 11 year old lab who has bad hips and cancer. A toma is closing his left eye, he still wants to play and I will wait till I feel he's in pain before I put him down. You guys certainly have large hearts.

My brother and his friends recently took a dog in they found out in a swamp. It had been left for almost 2 weeks....It's maybe only a year old.

You're doing the good work, and if you bring as much energy to that as you have into the F-body community....well....WATCH OUT!!

Keep check'n back....good news should be coming out in 2006!
