lol your definately not the only one!! I was just saying that as an investment since chances are that isnt normal operating speed (maybe it is!) that you could buy something else with the money or upgrade some suspension stuff so that you can get the rear to be less squirrly while at the same time get benefits in other areas like at the track or handling.

      SLP Spoiler:

Does anyone know why this only fits the TA and not the F Bird or Formula?

Formulas and Bird spoilers are intergrated into the hatch. It can't be removed. T/A's are bolted in...remove old spoiler put in the SLP.

Thats right Firebird, and Formulas have an intergrated spoiler into the hatch and the only option we have is to replace the whole hatch if we want something else. I have been going through hell trying to find the only add on spoiler for the Firebird/Formula. No one seems to be able to get it. It sells on buyspoilers.com And wings west also had it but people kept saying there out of business. I think I finally found it though. I went through Wings West Directly and they seem to be still in business, and they said they had it in stock so I ordered it, and it should arrive next week hopefully. Its called the Flush Mount on Wings West Check it out.

man, if you have 275's on it and the tail is getting squirrely at 130, something's definitely wrong.....i've hit 150 in my completely-stock Z, and it was just as firm & steady as it is at 70 (although slowing down was a bit iff-y). and when i say completely stock, i'm talking even the factory stock 245/50-16 tires are still on it. the only "mod" i've done to it (if you really consider it a mod.....) is a CAGS eliminator.

are you sure it wasn't maybe just the road you were on, or maybe you had too little air pressure in the tires or something?

actually for the best aerodynamics, your best off suited with the formula spoiler, anything else will only add more drag to the car. its really a simple principle, do some research on aerodynamics on the rear of a car( off site), especially the spoiler and you'll be suprised what you find. I find it kinda hard to believe that you need more downforce on your car because you surely couldn't be generating enough lift force from under the car. not to be a a$$, but i think your problem lies elsewhere.

My suspension has been all updated from the stock. Everything has been changed now. So I will test it once I get the car back from the shop next week and I will see how it will fair. Now I am researching subconnectors now. I saw that SLP has a bolt on for over 300.00!!! Is that a good one to get? or is there better ones that have better prices? I am also researching on a new rear so I looked up the Moser GM 12 bolt with a 3.73 I dont want to go any higher than that because I love highway driving and I still plan to use my car for long distances too. Anyone have any takes on the Moser Rear? Is it any good?

When i had my 97 camaro, i took it up to 140 on the highway. stock spoiler, and it was fine. I had the car lowered with eibach sport springs and i had lcas and the relocation brackets.
