The dealer wants $100 for a harness extension to the ram air box! Is there anywhere else I can get one for cheaper or can I somehow rig it up to reach the MAF? I was thinking cut and splice on some more wire?

You should be able to extend the MAF harness wires with no problems. Make sure you have a high quality splice. The MAF control signal is a variable frequency, so resistance in the circuit is not an issue.Fred

Solder, heat shrink sleeving, and some electrical tape and you should be good to go.Comment
