Cleaning Inside of Wheels

Is there a way to clean the inside of the wheels without taking the wheel off? I cleaned them well a year ago by taking the wheels off, and I believe they had never been cleaned before in there. Did a lot of hard scrubbing with steel wool to get 90% of the 11 years of filth off. So this time wouldn't be so hard. It should all just wipe right off. Would spraying wheel cleaner in there then hosing it off with water get it ALL off, or do I have to take the wheels off again. (Pain in the @$$!)

I spray the backside of my wheels thru the spokes every time I was the car. After letting it soak for a while, I use a long handled, stiff bristle brush to clean the back side of the wheels. Good luck and have fun.

A toilet brush to be specific.

Yeah...but detail is what I strive on. I just wash the insides when I rotate my tires. LOL...that translate to about 1-2 every three months...but I guess a toilet brush would work.

dirty wheels

I took my WS6 wheels to a place that powder coats and had the back sides black powder coated and the front sides left alone it really made the chrome stand out, it doesn't keep the backs from getting dirty but you don't notice it so much.

I took all 4 wheels off the car, and cleaned them the right way. Once a year, so it needed to be done. I'll try a toilet brush next time, but since I have salad shooter wheels it will be hard to reach all spots with it.
