Pull out the radio fuse, turn the key from the off position to the Run position (do not crank it) 5 times, leaving it in the run position the fifth time. Now simultaneously hold the Lock/Unlock buttons on the remote, and keep pushing them until the door locks close and open. If you plan on programing more than one remote, hold the buttons on those too after youre done with the first. Turn the ignition to off, pop the fuse back in, and you're set. Do note that any previously programed remote will no longer work after you program a new one, so if you plan to add one, you have to do both. Hope this helps. If it doesn't, the instructions are in the manual!

will this work with a 93?

i know this is old thread but i'm getting a remote in. anyone know if this works for the 93's as well? Or if all bird's with power locks and power hatch release will work with the keyless entry? Thanks ~Heath
93 Red Trans Am, LT1, Auto, Custom CAI, Polished TB (mostly just looks nice lol), Flowmaster Catback, on headers, cam, and a few other goodies to get here. Debating on which electric water pump to use and whether or not MSD is that much better on these cars than the opti. More to come later.

Programming will depend on what you are having installed. It will likely have it's own programming sequence.

Thank you, i'm not sure yet what it will be. I have a friend that has a car shop and he said he had removed a keyless system from a 94 Camaro which has the alarm and the keyless entry and the little chip you pull out from under the dash so to disable the ignition switch. I guess they just splice in to the wires already there for the power locks and hatch release to make it work properly. Thanks again ~Heath
